Important: By default, an administrator is provided with your Xpert-Timer database. This administrator is used solely for setting up and managing the database. He is not considered a full user and cannot be used to record project times. By default, the user name is set to XTADMIN and the password to xtadmin. You should change this password to prevent misuse. |

In XT-Admin, you can choose whether you want to use a login dialog to log in to Xpert-Timer or whether you want to use the user login integrated in Windows.
The advantage of using a separate login dialog is that different people can log in to the time system on a computer under a single Windows user ID. On the other hand, this requires an additional login step each time.
Spaces are not allowed in the login name!
TIP: Hold down the Shift key when starting Xpert-Timer to open the login dialog.
In XTAdmin, you can set the login dialog for the entire company in the "Settings" area:
Alternatively, you can also pass a command line parameter in the properties of the link so that only certain users of Xpert-Timer receive the login dialog. To do this, right-click on the shortcut on the desktop, select Properties -> Shortcut and write behind the target path: /logindialog
Double-clicking on the shortcut will then automatically open the login dialog.
