3. Setting up telephony for customers

In order for the telephony module to assign your customers' calls, you must enter the customer's phone number in the customer management system.

Open customer management via the menu item "Window" -> Customers.

Assign the contact person and a phone number to your customer there:

In the next step, open the customer's detailed data by double-clicking on the customer name in customer management:

Switch to the "Telephony" tab and select a telephony project that should start automatically when the customer calls. At this point, you can also create a new telephony project for the customer and start it directly if necessary.

If you have multiple contacts for the customer, you can activate them individually for telephony:

This completes all the settings for the successful use of the telephone module.
