A customer calls and you want to start a project right away without first creating a new project with a name? Then you can use the quick start function of Xpert-Timer. Wherever you see a red flash in the "Start" button, it is the start of a quick start project.
With the quick start project, you can immediately start measuring time without first selecting a customer or project. After clicking on the quick start option, the following display appears in your timeline:
As soon as you stop the project, you will be prompted to assign a project name. Quick start projects are always assigned at the main project level. Only if you have selected a customer in the project manager will the quick start project be created under that customer; otherwise, you must drag and drop the newly created project into the correct main project or the corresponding customer.
