Work groups serve to divide your employees into teams or departments. The visibility of projects and access rights can then be set individually for each work group.

Each employee is assigned to one (in strict separation) or more workgroups. In addition, each project must also be assigned to a workgroup. Each workgroup has a manager or department head who should be given elevated rights in Xpert-Timer in order to access all projects and recorded times for their workgroup or department.

This workgroup mode must be activated in the "XT Admin" administration program. Only then can employees, projects, and customers be explicitly assigned to the workgroups.
